Naturally you will find it hard to leave your baby for the first
time. We work closely with you, developing a warm relationship
through a series of visits, so that we are able to understand
your needs, reassure you and provide the care that you are looking
for.We will also follow your child’s sleeping and eating patterns to ensure that their home routine is maintained. Once your child starts with us you are given daily feedback so that you have a full picture of your child’s day and you are encouraged to ring as often as you like (although of course we would always ring you immediately if we had any concerns!). In fact, the children invariably find this initial parting much easier than you do, enjoying the interaction with the other children and staff and such an exciting array of things to do! Knowing your child is safe, happy and being looked after by such a friendly and competent team will enable you to enjoy your day without any worries. The children have a wide range of things to do. These are carefully planned to suit the varying ages and stages of the children attending. ![]() They include -
Mid-morning and mid-afternoon, the children are offered a wholesome
snack, such as fruit, vegetable sticks or a home-made biscuit
as well as a drink and then go outside to play in the garden.
At lunch-time our delicious home-cooked meals are served liquidised
or lumpy for the younger children according to their stage of
weaning. The babies of course are given their bottles, whenever
required.
Children are given many opportunities to build
on their experiences through play and a balanced programme of
activities. This is excellent guidance. It is not a curriculum
for the under three's.
